What makes an onyx bathtub different?
Onyx is a banded, translucent stone, so a thin-walled onyx tub can glow when lit from behind or below. It is softer than granite and needs a sealed finish and gentle cleaners. Large flawless blocks are rare, which makes onyx tubs among the most costly stone tubs. Each Pietra Fonte onyx tub is made to order.
